How to fill in a rishta biodata
A biodata is often the very first impression a family forms, so accuracy matters more than polish. Families compare biodatas carefully and verify key details later — an exaggerated job title or a rounded-down age tends to surface, and it costs trust at exactly the wrong moment.
Be specific about work. “Businessman” tells a family very little. Say what the business is and roughly how long it has run. Be honest about family expectations. If you expect a joint family setup after marriage, say so plainly — it saves both families time.
