Child Safety Standards

Effective July 22, 2026. Applies to ShadiLife.com and the ShadiLife app.

ShadiLife is a matrimonial platform for adults seeking marriage. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, anywhere on our platform. This page describes the standards we hold ourselves to, how we prevent minors from accessing the platform, and how to report a concern.

Adults only, enforced at signup

ShadiLife is restricted to users aged 18 and older. Every account requires a date of birth at registration, and our systems reject any signup where the stated date of birth would make the user younger than 18 — this is enforced on our servers, not just as a checkbox or a client-side prompt that can be skipped.

Identity verification and profile moderation

Members can verify their identity using a government-issued CNIC, and our moderation team reviews submitted profiles and photos before they go live. Profiles and photos that raise any concern, including any indication that the account may belong to a minor, are rejected and the account is suspended pending review.

Reporting a concern

Every profile and every conversation on ShadiLife has a Block and Report option, available directly in the app and on the website, with no need to contact us first. If you encounter content or behavior that concerns you — including anything that may involve a minor — please report it in-app immediately, and separately email us directly at hello@shadilife.com with as much detail as you can share. We review every report and act on confirmed violations, including permanently removing the account and the content involved.

Cooperation with authorities

ShadiLife complies with applicable child safety laws, including Pakistan's Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016. We cooperate with law enforcement, including Pakistan's National Response Centre for Cyber Crime (NR3C), and with international reporting bodies where applicable, and we will preserve and disclose relevant account information when legally required to do so in connection with a CSAE investigation.

Designated point of contact

For questions about our CSAE prevention practices, or to escalate a report, contact hello@shadilife.com. This inbox is monitored by our team and is the designated channel for child safety concerns.
